Wildlife Forensic Foundation
Poaching often goes unseen and unpunished - leaving behind weak evidence and fuelling global trafficking networks in wildlife, weapons, drugs, and humans. To stop this, we need skilled rangers trained in forensic investigation.
The Wildlife Forensic Fund (WFF) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to raising funds so that wildlife rangers can undergo critical and vital forensic and courtroom training at the Wildlife Forensic Academy (WFA).
Located in South Africa, on a private game reserve, the Academy offers cutting-edge forensic training through a unique blend of classroom learning and hands-on fieldwork. Rangers investigate staged wildlife crime scenes and practice presenting their evidence in a fully equipped courtroom - guided by forensic specialists, prosecutors, judges and veterinarians.
Your support ensures that dedicated wildlife rangers, who works on the frontlines of the global poaching crisis, has access to expert training on preserving valuable evidence, and to successfully testify in court. This facilitates the transformation of wildlife poaching investigations and ensures to deliver real justice for wildlife.
